 LV 3rd Update

Hey folks, its time for another work log update.  Now that the frame and side panels were painted, it is time go take care some of the accent pieces.

If you look at the stock Silverstone SG01 case, you can see that there is a silver accent pieces on the front panel.

This is not actually aluminum, but acrylic mirror.  I wanted to change the mirror to match the theme of the case.  I removed the mirror, sanded it down for texture, primed, and painted it gold / brass.

The brass ended up a matte finish, rather than a reflective metallic.  I still think it looks “OK’.  Here is a quick picture of the front panel and mirror mounted together:

Time to put all the frame and side panel to see how everything looks.

That is it for this update.  We now have the computer frame pretty much done.  Next step it to take care of the window and get the parts in there.
